Early Easter with the Knudsen's

We are going to be out of town for Easter so we celebrated with Chris's family last Sunday. His sister Patrice was so nice to host and we celebrated some spring birthdays as well! The kids had so much fun! Lydia has been so excited for Easter so it was a nice pre-cursor to the real thing. Audrey was more interested in throwing the eggs then seeing what was inside (ha ha ha!) So happy early Easter!
All the grand-kids (except Carter...who lives in Vegas)
One bunch of cute kids...right?
Lydia found her Easter basket and was so excited!
Aud's found a rock rather then an egg...typical Aud's!
going through her loot
Lydia especially loved this ball...so funny because I loved this toy when I was little too:)

The Verdict

The Case of the Knudsen sisters:

The Facts: Lydia Threw a kid's hand rake at Audrey's face cutting her on her face and inside her mouth.
The Evidence: Audrey bleeding profusely from the mouth, and the green hand rake only inches away.
The Culprit: Lydia Ann Knudsen
The consequence: Audrey's mouth got infected. Had to go to the dr. where when he opened her mouth puss cam pouring out and had a horrible fever for a few days. Luckily with a tetnus shot and some antibiotics she was back to being her self.
The Verdict: Girls fight too...everyone who tells me girls are so much easier at this age because they don't fight sorry don't believe it.
The Assailant...looks sweet doesn't she
The Victim= this picture sort of shows how swollen the right side of her face was but this was after a day of antibiotics so it had gone done quite a bit!

Let's go fly a kite

Last weekend it was quite "blustery" as Lydia says! So we got a costco kite and headed out. Well of course as soon as we did the wind died so after going to three...yes I said three different parks we called it quits. We then went out Saturday headed to Providence Hall Jr. High (at the top of a mountain) and the kite flew like it was headed back to heaven! It was a fun day and a fun outing for our family!

P.S. I have taken a bit of a technology break...I figure I can ease my way back into it I had found it was taking up so much of my time and I wasn't being the mom I wanted to be. So I may post once or twice a month but nothing like I was, so please don't feel bad if I haven't commented on everyone else's blogs I haven't been on for a LONG time! I am excited to get caught up one of these days on all the fun stuff that has been going on in everyone's lives:)

Those darn leprechauns!

The Leprechaun's made it to the Knudsen house this year again! The kids were so surprised to see how much they had messed up our house...but they were excited for the pot of gold they left! We had green waffles and milk and even made some green cookies! Lydia is still talking about how the leprechaun peed in our toilet...I didn't get a picture of it but I am sure you can imagine it (ha ha ha!)

The Leprechaun stole Lydia's blanket again this year...she was so MAD!!!
Their pot of gold!
He even left some foot-prints and rainbow jelly-beans where ever he went!
Woohoo he even left some movies!
Audrey was the most surprised:)

Discovery Gateway...again!

We love Discovery Gateway, it was a pretty nice day and so I decided to take the girls downtown for some Gateway fun! Audrey LOVED it, she is getting to a fun age where she could actually play and enjoy it! Lydia of course loved it as always!

Snow Day...FINALLY!

Well we FINALLY got some snow in the valley and so we headed to the park by our house for some sledding! It was such a fun little family outing other then Chris throwing his back out. But the kids had a blast, Audrey loved eating the snow, Lydia wanted to go as fast as she could down the hill and Che' just loved being out in the snow and he was a trooper pulling the kids on the sled over and over!!!

Miller Time Fun!

So a month or so ago we went on such a fun trip with our good friends the Miller's. They drove their AMAZING motorhome down to Mesquite and we all stayed at "The Solstice" this really nice RV park resort.
Friday we got there and got all set up went to a super yummy mexican restaurant and we actually got to go and see Colby's nieces compete at their soccer tournament.

Saturday the boys headed out golfing and Meg and I headed to Vegas with the kid's for some OutLet's shopping. The deals were awesome and it was fun to head into Vegas, even if it was only for a few hours. Heading back we almost ran out of gas and Siri was no help (ha ha ha!) That night we had a yummy BBQ dinner with Colby's brother and sister-in-law and we watched movies in the Club house at the resort.

Sunday we headed to Logan Dale Trails for such a fun razor, dirt bike and 4-wheeling outing. I don't think my kids have ever been so dirty and they were in heaven. I also have to say I am OBSESSED with their Razor...pretty sure I want one for our family when our kids are older. If you haven't ever been on one they are SO fun!!! That night we got some yummy pizza hut and hung out watching movies in the RV!

Monday we were headed home! After an interesting experience at a Country Club for breakfast with kids....I will never do that again! We were headed home! It was such a fun trip with our BFF's as always!
The picture doesn't do it justice she was CAKED in dirt seriously so bad!
Lydia's just laying in the dirt...makes sense right (ha ha ha!)
Meg and Cash...Cash and Audrey were competing for who could eat the most s and in one day!
Jen, Colby's sister-in-law on her dirt bike (yes she is that cool that she has her own dirt bike and all the gear...I want to be like her when I grow up, ha ha ha!)
Jackson, Colby's nephew he lead Meg and I on our Razor Adventure!
I don't think that this picture can do it justice how much fun Chris had riding this thing! He is OBSESSED, seriously!

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
