Backyard of mis-fit trees!

One of my all time favorite Christmas movies is "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" the claymation one of course. I always have such a soft spot for the toys that are stuck on the "Island of mis-fit toys!" Well I now feel like our backyard has become the backyard of misfit trees (ha ha ha!) Chris heard about a nursery in Orem that was going out of business so we went and checked it out. We found pine trees for $5 and trees for $10 so needless to say we bought quite a few. Anyways they are not the best looking trees but I see their potential! Anyways I can't help but look out in our backyard and think...we are giving them a chance (ha ha ha!)

Don't worry, that is snow on May 24th...aaaahhhh!
I call these our Dr. Seuss trees, since they are all different shapes!
Our $5 pine trees I think were our best find for sure
The forest around Lydia's sand box...those have since been planted. Most of those went into our neighbors back-yard though...we need a little privacy so we don't feel so much like we are living in a fish bowl (ha ha ha!)
Love the snow...NOT!
Those boots were made for walking!

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
