OK OK so I know that Michael Jackson got totally weird in his later years he went from A.B.C. to CRAZY, but who are we kidding the KING OF POP is dead. I will be the first to admitt my heart sank BAD when I heard about his death. He will always be one of if not the most "Thriller-ing" musicians ever, (even if Billy Jean is not my lover.) It makes me sad when my dance studio girls have no idea who he is ( I tell them it doesn't matter if your black or white) and I usually take it upon myself to make sure that they leave my studio with a proper Michael Jackson 101 education. I love his music, reguardless of what he looked like. So to all you fellow M.J. fans...we gotta keep the faith!

OOPS!!! I just re-read my comment, and I KNOW HOW TO SPELL!!! I really meant "I was so sad to HEAR!!!
I feel the exact same way as you. Even though he got a little crazy the past few years, he will always be one of my favorite musicians of all time. When I heard the news I didn't beleive it and kept hoping it wasn't true. I was really excited that he was going on tour and was hoping that he was going to make a come back.
I cant believe your girls don't know who he is. That makes me feel really old!! I remember doing a all micheal jackson recital when I was in jr. high. It was so much fun, definitely one of my favorite and most memorable recitals.
I was pretty upset about it as well...colby was laughing at me and asked what he is going to be remembered by (then he named some of the not so great things about him) but let's be honest his early music was AWESOME!! I still love it today.
