Labor Day...on Jordanelle!

On Saturday before Labor Day my family went to Jordanelle. It was so much fun to do an old fashioned, wake up early, ski before the sun comes up boat run. We haven't just gone boating for the morning in I don't know how long. Lydia got to try out her new sunglasses, and as usual she loves being on the boat...I hope that she stays that way!Anyways afterwards we went to the outlest and of course Lydia got totally spoiled by her grandparents...they got her the cutest little outfits which I can't wait to fit her (she is still wearing her newborn clothes...so I'll be excited when she can finally move up to 3 month clothing.) After the outlets we went to one of my all time favorite restaurants "Redrock." After that we watched the Utah and BYU games. It was a great day and a fun little break from life! Thanks mom and dad for a fun filled weekend!

Ok so whenever we travel with the Millers it is always in style, and this trip was no exception. So we went to Pinedale or Lake Freemont which is in Wyoming. Colby's Mom and Dad have this amazing Cabin on the lake with a dock and the works. It was so much fun we brought the dogs and stayed in their absolutely amazing RV, which was more like staying in a condo, it extended out on both sides to make it very luxurious. Needless to say we had a blast. We water skiied and, wake boarded to our hearts content. The water was a little nippy but luckily the Miller's were prepared with dry suits and wet suits so we were never too cold. It was also so much fun because we were able to bring the dogs, they had a blast going on little adventures and swimming in the lake. Over all it was an amazing trip, and so much fun spending time with our BFF's! We are so glad that they will still invite us on trips, especially since little Lydia isn't always on her best behavior! Anyways I posted a lot of pics, but I just couldn't resist it was just so much fun! Thanks Colby and Meg for another great vacation!
P.S. There were more pics of the RV but for some reason they wouldn't download...dang it!

Happy 4 month B-day!

Bumbo!

Ok so I have totally become one of those obsessive moms, but honestly I wouldn't want it any other way. So today was Lydia's 4 month b-day and it has gone by so fast. I look at pics of her when she was first born and she was just so tiny. Does anyone else feel like they wish they could slow down time. Now i'm not complaining because I love all the new little things that she is learning and doing (grabs the spoon, bottle, and anything else and puts it in her mouth, or giggles when you kiss her cheek.) Anyways I love her to death and so for her mini B-day we got her a BUMBO! Yes i'm so excited now she can sit on the counter while I make dinner and I don't have to carry her in the front pack (she likes to be apart of the action, and let's be honest I spoil the heck out of this kid!)

The old way of cooking dinner!

Realty Pro Salt Lake

Well for those of you who don't know my husband Chris is a realtor...soon to be real estate broker. Anyways he has a new website with all of his listings. I know that I am biased but I think that he is the best. I know he puts a lot into his work and really cares about the people he works with. So if you are interested or know anyone who is check out his website and let him know!

Tatertots...mmm mmm cute!

Not your old school tatertots!

Well I've recently got in contact with my long time friend Chelsea (Frandsen) Horsley, and realized that she makes the most adorable hair clips for girls. I just ordered a couple for Lydia and they are absolutely darling. I love them because they are different (and so cute), hand made, and such good quality. So if you are interested in ordering some check out her blog at http://www.tatertothairclips.blogspot.com/,

I recommend them for sure!

Thanks Chelsea they are darling!

Pics of Liddy Bug!

Nothing too exciting going on right now, so here are some pics of Lydia over the past couple of weeks!
Lydia is my favorite in the mornings because she is just so bright eyed and happy!
Carrots...mmm good!
4 Months next to her bunny, she is finally starting to look bigger!
Hanging out with Deni...it was the first time that one of them wasn't crying (aren't they so cute!)

Happy Birthday to you...Cha cha cha!

Well my mom turned 54 on the 14th and I must say that she looks absolutely great for her age. Since becoming a mom myself I have so much more respect for my mom. Not only was she an absolutely amazing mom, but she also always worked full time. But the thing about my mom is it never felt like she worked full time, because she was always there for us, she made sure that she was to every important event and when she was home she always made it count.
I have so many fun memories of the summers going up to the canyons to find wild flowers (my mom is a biology teacher so she could always name all the flowers.) Or going to Yellow stone with just my brothers and my mom. We had her new 4-runner and only 3 C.D's the whole trip. Garth Brooks greatest hits, Cranberries and Sting.
My mom has always been such an amazing mom in that she is a great cook, she can sew the most amazing things...especially the Ninja Turtle costumes she sewed for my brothers. She has a great laugh, I will never forget our trip to London just laughing about all of the funny things that were happening to us (i.e. waking up in the middle of the night and our air mattress had totally deflated so our feet and heads were in the air while our butts were totally hitting the ground.) She loves to read which is where I attribute my love of reading from. I always know that I can sit and discuss a great book with her for hours, and she get's just as emotionally connected to them as I do (i.e. Kite Runner...we both still cry when we talk about it!) Also she is the smartest person I know...my whole life I grew up knowing if I asked my mom something she would know the answer. Still to this day Chris and I will disagree about something and to solve it we just call my mom.
Anyways I love her to death and even though she is 54 years old she still seems 29 to me and always will. She is so amazing and I feel so blessed to have her as a mom, and as great of a mom as she is she is an even better grandma! I love you mom...Happy Birthday!

Old friends...good times

It was Tiffany's baby shower on Thursday and it was so much fun to see some old friends that I haven't seen forever. Tiffany is so freaking cute, and looks amazing especially since she is due here pretty soon, in the picture you can't even tell she is pregnant. It was so much fun to see what everyone is up to now and reminice about the good old days on drill team (i.e. why did we have to wear poo brown unitards with chinaman hair while this years team had great costumes?) It was also cool because the shower was at Brecke's house (which is absolutely amazing by the way,) anyways I had been to the parade of homes that day and come to find out her husband built my all time favorite home ever...if you went it is the Cottonwood craftsman (it is where the trailer homes used to be in the downs.) Anyways I love these girls to death and loved catching up.
P.S. Tiffany good luck with the delivery, it is totally worth it!
