We've been hit by the...

You know how you get hit by the "Phantom" around Halloween? Well Last week we were officially hit by the Swine Flu Phantom, and we survived.
Chris came home Wednesday night and literally didn't come out of our room until Sunday. I was lucky because I was able to get on the tamiflu as soon as we found out he had it so I didn't have it nearly as bad. We were also so lucky that Lydia was able to get the vaccination and didn't get sick!!!
Chris does want to tell the world that he thought it was overrated so to anyone worried about getting it minus the risidual cough it wasn't too bad!

18 months!

18 Months

Well Lydia is officially 18 months old.I took her in for her wellness check up and Dr. Boettger was pretty impressed that she has not been sick one time in 18 months. She has only been in for wellness visits (knock on wood!) Anyways she 32 1/4 inches tall (60%), 24 lbs (45%) and her head is 47.5 cm (80%) She is healthy and happy and that is all that matters. It makes me feel so excited for everything that she has grown into and all that she has in store. Here are 18 things about Liddy now that she is 18 months old...
1. 14 teeth with two more on the way
2.Loves Yo Gaba Gaba

6. Loves to cuddle with mom and dad before bed.
7. Likes to fall asleep with the door open.
8. Has quite the obsession with balloons.
9. Loves to play outside with Che'
10. Absolutely loves to go down the slide at any park.
11. Loves to get out the sugar from the lazy Susan and the measuring cup and make huge messes on the floor like mom.
12. Throws things in the garbage (things that should be thrown away now.)
13. Still loves shoes, she has a new pair of dress up shoes that she adores.
14. Has to sleep with her two blankies still.
15. Has the cutest little fake laugh she does when other people laugh.
16. Finds mom's shoes for her when we are getting ready to leave.
17. Likes to open things when I put them in the shopping cart.
18. Still loves to dance and shake her booty to any music!!!

Anyways I love this little girlie so much and not a day goes by I don't feel completely humbled by the amazing opportunity that heavenly Father has blessed me with. I love Lydia she has brought so much joy and happiness to my life, I truly do feel complete. I was telling Chris the other day, I know that some people feel that they were put on this earth for certain talents like musician, athlete etc. I truly feel like I my life is complete just by being a mother.

Semi-annual Knudsen family St. George Vacation!

Can I just say we had so much fun on our st.george trip this year. Lydia had so much fun playing with her cousins, I had a blast shopping and making a really cute craft and of course Chris had a great time golfing until his heart was content. The weather was great, the company even better and overall it was a blast. The only thing that could've possibly made it better was if Darin was there, but there will be plenty more trips with Dar. Anyways I didn't get a ton of pictures thoughout the trip but here are the few pictures I did get! The kids eating breakfast, Lydia was in heaven have Bode and Raini around all the time!
We went to the park to play and the kids had a blast...gotta love the bed head we have going on in this pic from both girls!

Cute Bode is getting so big!

Bode and Patrice

Clint...such a great B-I-L and great dad. He is always fun with the kids because he loves to play with them like he is a big kid!

Lyd coming out of the tube

It was so exciting because Jared and Stacey got a new dog while we were in St. George. I am so excited that Booker is going to be the newest member of the family. We became fast friends, when I first met Booker he was so excited he accidentally peed on my leg and shoe. It was pretty funny. Che is going to be so excited when he is up here for Thanksgiving!

The proud new puppy parents, I think you can tell that they were extremely excited!

The Pedersen family .

The kids all wanted to ride in the same car! It was so funny they would just sit back there laughing and having a grand old time. Needless to say we will have to get a new car before we have three kids though (ha ha ha!)

While we were shopping the kids were great they found ways to keep themselves entertained. From the looks of this picture Lydia and Raini are going to be the best of friends!

Bode was showing us his muscles, while we were in Target he fell off the skate board and got a bloody nose but he was still smiling afterwards.

Our two little monkeys!

Just swinging around.

It was another great trip filled with alot of laughter, swimming, eating, crafting, golfing, shopping, and much much more. Thanks Robin and Wayne for another great trip!

Cornbelly's Farm and Pumpkin Fest

Saturday we took Lydia to "Cornbelly's Farm" it was a lot of fun for Lydia and I won't lie I have always wanted to go.

We had to wait in line for the jumping pillow things so Lydia entertained us while we waited!

Lydia absolutely loves trampolines so she was in heaven!

Yes even I jumped with Lydia (more to protect her from the big kids that kept knocking her down)

Going down the slide...I was a little too fast for her to sit up!

On the hay ride

pulled by a tractor

playing on the choo choo train

watching the chicken show

Playing in the playhouse full of corn kernnals, it was very cool.

"Hi mom!"

Yet again she found another slide.

She went up and down this one for about 30 minutes while Chris had a cookie and I had some cotton candy!

Here I come!

Another favorite...the swings. This was a cool swing shaped like a horse.

Liddy and her daddy on the rocking chair!

Thanks daddy for a fun filled day at "Cornbelly's Farm"

Clean up on aisle 4 please!

A few pictures of Lydia doing what she does best...MAKE MESSES!

In this picture she is actually trying to help me clean up...I think!

"Mom I thought you said you needed bread crumbs all over the floor, after you got done moping it!"

Wasn't too sure about the frosting, but she really liked the sprinkles!

It took her a minute to get into the whole flour on your hands messiness...

but not too long!

Eureka!

Well my cute grandma and grandpa Favatell live in Eureka, Utah. It is just west of santa quein (sp.) and on the way to the sand dunes if you know where those are. Anyways they have a pretty unique set up and it is awesome. My grandpa is a stone mason and can build just about anything. He built his entire house from the ground up and everything you see in all the pictures he built. Every time we go my grandma has a "honey do list" and he is working on it. We went there earlier in the summer and I couldn't get my pics to download for some reason. So here are some pics for our day in Eureka!

Grandma and Felix

Lydia and Tayjah playing in their hot tub, in the sun room.

The girls had a blast playing the the horse shoe pit, which converted nicely into a sand box!

My grandpa Felix's daughter and son-in-law live in Panama. My g-ma and Felix have gone back a couple of times and decided to build a Bajio in memory of Panama...it is really cool!

With wine glass windows
(Sorry I couldn't get some of the pictures to rotate to save my life)

I don't know if you can see but one side of the Bajio opens completely up so you can do you bbq-ing in or out doors!

The fountain that Felix built for my grandma!

Felix built this house from the ground up. It is very innovative with an elevator, and heated floors. Felix takes such good care of my grandma we love her and we are all so happy that she met Felix!

The Gazeebo and bridge

Yes they have a real teepee and totum pole. I can't wait until Lydia is old enough to stay in it!

The garden and arbor

The girlies all tukered out after a fun trip to grandma-ma's house!

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
