Miller time!

Megs and I when we went snowmobiling!
Chris and Colby bff's since third grade (they have some pretty funny memories together!) For those of you who went to Hillcrest...how could we forget when they kissed on H-Tv (ha ha ha)
Us on one of the amazing vacations they invited us on...here we are in Sunvalley one of the most amazing places on earth.

Well where do I begin with out Bff's the Millers. Colby and Meghan have been the greatest friends and they have stuck with us through thick and thin. We have so many amazing memories with them. Since having Lydia Chris and I are always paranoid that they aren't going to want to hang out with us and the kid...but they never cease to amaze us because they still keep calling! So here are some of my favorite memories with the Millers and I hope that there are many more to come
1.Going snowmobiling up guardsman's pass and there was so much snow we only got about 1/2 mile before we had to turn around. I can remember asking Meghan if she thought they would get married...little did I know they had already picked out the ring and had the date set!
2. Pinedale when Chris took Colby's red pillow which started a fight in which Colby ended up sleeping on the searay, which caused Meghan to get worried when she couldn't find Colby and come and get chris to help her find him. The truly funny part is that it was really all Chris' fault because he knew it wasn't his pillow but he still took it anyways. We have had many laughs about that night!
3. Going to Sunvalley and Chris talking about how the fireplaces are so HUGE!!! Going on the super fun runs and Chris, Colby and Meghan were all so amazing and I just barley made it down the hills but they were always so nice. We went ice skating, and sat in these huge hot tubs that were literally the size of a pool. Then there was the carriage ride where sipped hot choclate and just tried to stay warm.
4. Talking about old memories of Chris and Colby...here are a few that made me laugh!
a)Puberty boy" Colby yelled this when Chris said here because his voice was so deep!
b)"Party, Party, Party!" Chris got on the table when his teacher left the room, and said "Party" then all the sudden the class went quiet and he said "she is standing behind me isn't she!"
c)Colby getting everyone not to vote for Chelsea Frandsen for student council because she got mad at him when he told her she had PMS
these are just a few of the many!
5.Pinedale another year when we slept in the tent and Colby farted the stinkiest fart I have ever smelled, we were all laughing so hard we were crying!
6.Lake Powell when I acidentally crashed Colby's boat onto a rock...this wasn't actually a funny memory except for the fact that Colby watched the whole thing happening.
7. Lake powell when we stayed up late and were all laughing so hard because the bats were all flying so low...Colby was extremely hyper that night.
8. All mine and Meghan's little chats, it is always so nice to have someone to talk to about things!
9.Having dinner up at Jordanelle and then leaving them to camp in a non-camp site with Bode. It was fun to let out little dog's play!
10. Our most recent was going to the Riverton Rodeo and going on the "RING OF FIRE" the whole time we were thinking..."we are too old to be doing this"
They are are best friends and we love them to death!

Father's Day "Rock Band" style!

The new obsession!
My amazing hubby!

So I feel like I have the most amazing husband ever, he is extremely patient with me even when I really don't deserve it. He has also been an exceptional father. He just adores Lydia and through the rough times he was always so positive and kind. Let's be honest I got pretty big when I was pregnant and never once did Chris say anything rude or negative. And he is always so helpful with her now. Anyways for "Father's day!" I wanted to get him something special. So I kind of fell into a really good deal on an x-box 360 and so I got him "Rockband" (now I'm not going to lie I also really enjoy the game) but it was for him. It's pretty sad but it has given us some great bonding moments for our marriage we give eachother high fives when we get a new gig or a new song. And it is like our little release for after we put Lydia down. So anyways Father's day rocked, and all because of my amazing husband!

Tayjah Dawn

Tayjah was pretty confident holding Lydia even though she was squirming all over!
She is definately part fish!
Tayjah turned 5 I think June 5th so my mom took her for the day as part of her b-day present. She brought her over to the house to go swimming. Tayjah was so cute she wanted to hold Lydia and she pushed her in her stroller to and from the pool. It was so funny once we got there she didn't even think twice she jumped right in and stayed in there for an hour. She is my cousin Jordan's daughter and I just think that she is so darling. Happy Birthday Tayjah!

"So you think you can dance!"

I couldn't help but be so excited when I heard that "So you think you can dance" was coming to SLC. I was about 6 months pregnant and even though I wanted to try out and couldn't I couldn't wait to see if I knew anyone that made it. I am so excited to say that Thayne Jasperson and I danced together at UVSC on Synergy. He actually had just started dancing and synergy was basically one of his first dance experiences. It is so funny to watch and see someone that I actually know. So anyone to all of you "So you think you can dance" fans...make sure to vote for Thayne!

Father's day!

Well I tried to get this on here sooner but my computer was having issues. I wanted to just say how blessed I feel to have such a great dad. He is so amazing in so many ways and has been such an amazing example to me throughout my life. I look up to him and want to be like my dad, he has so many amazing qualities. So here are the top ten reasons why I love my dad!
1. Always there for me whenever I have needed him.
2.Still a kid...isn't afraid to still have fun.
3.Hardest worker I have ever met...and probably ever will meet.
4. He loves my mom and shows it.
5.He isn't afraid to laugh at himself, and is just a big tease!
6. He cares about keeping in shape for the grandkids...he is the only person I know that at 50 goes on 100 mile bike rides for fun on saturdays!
7. He loves to vacation, and has taken us on some pretty amazing vacations throughout our lives.
8. He is a clean freak...which is where I got the neat freak ocd from!
9. He loves the gospel and honors his priesthood.
10. He would give his kids the world if we asked.

So here's to you dad, thanks for always being there for me and always providing so many things for our family. I love you!

Two peas in a pod!

Deni Rappleye and Lydia
Deni was born April 19th and Lydia is the 21st
Of course Lydia is always being a drama queen and the first to cry!
Well it has been so much fun becasuse Tim and Marie Rappleye had Deni two days before we had Lydia and we are now neighbors. It has been so nice to have Marie up the street to discuss our baby woes and joys together, and especially to be able to watch so you think you can dance with someone other than Chris...love ya babe but I know its not your favorite. Anyways we got the girls together and got some pics. It is pretty funny because Lydia looks like she is growing wide and Deni looks like she is growing tall. I can't wait until little Deni and Lydia can have sleepovers and we can take them to the pool and all the other fun things they have in store!

Bode turns two!

Lydia at the party in her totally random outfit!
Lydia and Raini...they are destined to be little buddies!
Bode was so dang cute opening all his presents he was so excited he wanted to play with all of the right then...that is until he realized he had another present to open!
This was the coolest present ever, it was a weed wacker...he also got the lawn mower to go with it. I think Clint is going to be glad for the help (ha ha ha)
Don't forget the saftey glasses!
You can't really tell but he has cake all over his face...it is so dang cute!
It is so hard to believe that Bode is alredy 2 years old, we were on our way back from Lake Powell when we got the call that Patrice had, had her baby. It has been so much fun watching him grow up. Clint and Patrice are such good parents and I'm so grateful to be able to look to them for help and for their examples. We love Bode and can't wait for everything he has in store for the next year!

School's out for summer...School's out forever!

Here is my class being total goof-balls! They are all so dang cute, and each one has their own unique personality.

These are some of the smiles I got to see every day...I know I was pretty lucky!
The triple trouble, these girls were my favorites! They were always wanting to help, and even though they talked a lot they were darling. The little one in the middle was on american idol!
Well it has been one heck of a journey and I'm actually sad to see it end. I've now been teaching for three years. I know it doesn't sound like a long time but I loved every second of it. This years class was so amazing. They were a dream class, so good, so cute and most importantly so eager to learn. I can honestly say I'm going to miss the opportunity to teach. Even though the pay sucks and your over worked, to see those kids smiles every morning and how excited they always were about school made it more than worth it. I had a mom who knew that I wanted to have the kids make a quilt for Lydia because the kids were always so excited whenever they saw her kick and always asked all sorts of questions about her. So I wanted to have something to give her from them. Since I had her two weeks early I never got the chance, but Jennifer remembered and came in while I was gone to have the students make it for her. I just started bawling when I opened it. It was the perfect gift and the perfect way to finish off the year. I will always have a very special place in my heart for the students I've had the chance to work with. So here's to the end of one chapter in my life, and I look forward to what the next chapter has in store!

Lidy bugs car seat cover!

Chris' Mom made Lydia this car seat cover. I think that it is the cutest thing and it has come so in handy since this has not been a very warm May and June. Anyways it's pretty cute when we close the flap a lot of times she will fall aslep with her hand poking out!

Better get out the leaf!

Well we had Chris' family over for Sunday dinner. It was so nice to actually all be able to fit (well squeeze) around the table. I'm so glad we had the leaf! Anyways I look forward to having many more family dinners around that table.

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
