This little girl had a 1/2 birthday!

6 Months old...who are we kidding?
I can't believe that Lydia has been apart of our family for 6 months. It has been such an amazing journey to see all that she is learning and becoming each day. I often wonder what my life was really like before she came along. She is getting so fun, and honestly is such a happy baby. I have absolutely no complaints. I love her to death and feel so lucky to be her mommy!

Not quite there, but really trying to crawl! Her favorite thing to try to get is the remote (definitely a daddy's girl!)
Oops gotta have something in that mouth at all times...if it's not a binky its a hand or my phone or anything else she can lift!

My happy little baby.
The bunny is starting to look a little smaller...
even though she isn't getting much chubbier she is still getting taller!

Freezer dinners!

Well Patrice and I decided to try making enough meals for about 20 nights and freezing them to see if it saves us any time and money. I will admit it was a lot more work than I think that either of us anticipated but I already feel like it was worth it. We made some really great meals that I would ususally feel like I don't have the time to do, and now all I have to do is pull them out and cook them. No prep time what-so-ever!
Lindsey wasn't able to do the dinners so while she was there she was working on painting a darling chair for her kitchen table.
Over all I feel like it was worth it and a lot of fun, so thank you Patrice for finding all the recipes and telling me what to bring! And thanks to my mom, Robin and Lindsey for helping watch the kids so we could try our idea out!

Carving pumpkins!

The pumpkins!
Justin and Lindsey...what proud pumpkin parents!

Chris isn't holding his pumpkin because he only carved the eyes before getting distracted with X-box...gotta love it!
I had seen a cute idea on Studio 5 for some new creative pumpkins so Lindsey and I tried out the polka dot pumpkin, instead of the classic pumpkin style!
Gotta love carving pumpkins
Here is Chris' up close and personal... he came in all excited and announced that he was going to carve the statue of liberty. Well hopefully he doesn't think that is what she looks like! Instead he did the holes for a very interesting ghost! The funny thing was he the only thing he did carve was the eyes and no light could've shined through (ha ha ha)
While Lindsey and I worked hard on our pumpkins Chris and Justin played Halo live with a few other people like Darin down at school and some of Chris' high school friends. Yes my husband is wearing a head set (ha ha ha!)
Our masterpieces!

****Ok so I'm sure you are wondering why 4 posts at once, well I thought I had lost my usb cord so I ordered a new one and then tonight Chris got on a cleaning kick and cleaned out the linen closet and there it was (Hallelujuah!) sp*****

Rough day!

Ok I know what you are thinking, "why did she take a picture of two different shoes?" Well Saturday was a crazy day to say the least. Lydia missed her afternoon nap on account of a book party I had at the house and I finally got her down for a late nap. Then by the time Chris got home we were late for dinner with Katie and Bryant so we were rushing out of the house. I ran in the closet and put on what I thought were my matching shoes.

Well Sunday when I woke up and was cleaning things up from the night before I noticed that I had two mis-match shoes out by the couch. Then it hit me, I had worn two different shoes all night. The best thing is that while we were watching the movie at the Gibby's house I took my shoes off and put them back on and nadda, just as clueless!

I guess I'm starting to see that when your life is crazy luckily you don't realize all the stupid things you do, until after they are already done!

The pumpkin patch!

Welcome great pumpkin
-Charlie Brown
Usually I can get Lydia to smile but this was a bit of a challenge, I think she was on overload with all the things she could touch and see!
Well what can I say, she puts everything in her mouth! I promise I pulled it out before she ever got it in there (ha ha ha!)
She looks so intense...what the heck is this thing?
Cute Deni I'm glad that I got a picture of her smiling atleast!
They were just having an off day, neither one wanted to smile at the same time, but I still think they look adorable.
Well last week Marie and I took Lydia and Deni to this pumpkin patch on about 11800 S and 3600 W. It was so fun, they had little spots for pictures and even a kiddie corn maze! That is one thing I love about the west side, there are pumpkin patches everywhere. We took the girls and got a few fall pictures, I think that they turned out pretty cute. It was just so much fun to have a little something to break up the day. Thanks Marie and Deni for coming with us, we will have to do it more often!

Rubber ducky your the one...that makes bath time so much fun!

Well I'm sure that most babies are just like Lydia, in that she absolutely loves her bath time. When I go into the bathroom to get the water started she get's so excited and just get's this huge smile on her face and starts wiggling all around. She is so funny she gets so excited that I've also been peed on a couple of time between the removal of the diaper to putting her in the bath. Here are a few shots of her in her little robe right after he bath!

I've been tagged

THE RULES: You have to post the 4th picture in the 4th folder in your pictures folder. Then give a brief description before you tag a few others. So here it goes!

CHE'

This is Che right after we had gotten him...I can tell because

#1 he is tiny.

#2 The soccer ball is still in one piece

#3 His collar is about 1/8 the size it is now.

I'm actually glad I did this because poor Che' get's a little neglected since we had Lydia. I can't even begin to tell you though how much I love that freaking dog. He is so dang funny and so happy to see and play with anyone. His favorite is playing fetch in the lake...but he loves fetch period. He is such a good dog. The other day I put Lydia in her bouncer right by the sliding glass door and put the screen up and Che' put his nose up and Lydia just cooed at him. It was pretty cute! I can't wait until he is out of the puppy phase and Lydia is a little older and then maybe Che can become an inside dog again!

What's your favorite episode?

The Office

The Gang...or Michael's family as he likes to refer to them as.

Back up...you think I'm retarded? I have experience in television, in high school they used to call me the kool-aid man!

Slight overreaction. Well corporate decided to send me to management training...anger management training that is.

I wonder what people like about me...probably my jugs!

Holly-gram!

Big heart...even bigger butt!

I can't help that I was blessed with a talent for party planning!

Jim: "Dwight says he knows absolutely nothing about bears"

Dwight:"That is not true Jim they can climb faster than they can run...say it Jim"

www.nbc.com/CreedThoughts/

Look out world there is a new Pammy who is saying what she wants...oh and don't call me Pammy!

Is there anyone else out there who is obsessed with "The Office" as I am? Ok I know that is a loaded question because we all love it right. Well I want to know what your favorite episodes are and why you love those crazy characters. I'll put a few of my favorites as a reminder...and if you ever need anyone to watch it with you know who to call!

1. The alliance...I love Dwights blonde hair in the end. "Can I trust Jim...you tell me."
2. Product recall..."Rididididido give me the beat boys" and "beer me" are a couple of classic Andy lines.
3. Night out...are you a hobbit? Do you live in a normal size house?
4. Schrute Farms... we have three rooms "America, Irrigation and Night time!"
5. I burned my foot on the foreman grill...I like the smell of Bacon in the morning and I don't have a butler.
6. When i'm old and have a yacht I won't care how much money I have I will care how many friends I have...I mean I must've done pretty well I have a yacht.
7. Slight overreaction...about when Andy punched in the wall. Corporate decided to send me to management training...anger management that is.
8. Kelly:If there was a God Ryan and I would be married by now.
9. Meredith:I'm excited about being on camera I'm just not used to so many people being around.
10. Favorite episode is when Jim goes through all the pranks he has pulled on Dwight.

desk in the bathroom

Park City

Here is the condo obviously in the winter...I forgot my camera!
THis is what the room looked like!
Well my parents had their Park City or as my dad call is "Poop city!" time share. So we went up Wednesday night for a little family BBQ, and to wish my parents well on their vacation to Thailand. Then Lydia and I stayed overnight and we went shopping and walked up and down main street. We watched a few movies and I read a lot. Now Chris was totally making fun of me for staying up there by myself and maybe it sounds weird to others but for me it was nice not to have to clean the house, and do laundry and worry about walking Che and all the ohter things that come up during a busy day at home.
Then Friday night Chris and Colby and Meghan came up. It was fun to have them there. We went to Baja Cantina for dinner (which I had to go out and feed Lydia on a cold bench because she was starving.)Afterwards we got some carmaled apples amongst other things at my favorite the "Chocolate Factory!" Then we went back to the room and Megs and I watched a movie while Chris and Colby went and played in the arcade (I told you i'm married to a man in a kids body...Chris wouldn't stop talking about the fact that they had the game frogger (like from Seinfeld)) ANyways then we played games and stayed up way past my bed time laughing and talking...I think I was loopy by the end because I haven't laughed that hard in a long long time. In the morning we went to Micky D's and got some grub!
It was a great little vacation, and thanks guys for coming up and hanging out with us!

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
