Hop, Hop, Easter Fun!

We had such a great easter weekend. We were finally done with the birthday celebrations, and it was time for easter. Dying eggs, easter egg hunts, easter baskets, and most importantly taking some time to think about the special meaning of easter. We are so lucky to know that when Christ died it wasn't truly the end. It is always a good time to reflect on those sacrifices that were made on our behalf, and take time to make some goals to do better in different aspects of our life. I feel so blessed to know that our Savior was willing to die for us, and provide a way for us to return to him again. I love this time of year, and hope that as a parent I will be able to teach my children that the easter egg hunts, and baskets are fun but there is a much more important reason we celebrate this special time of year!

Saturday-Riverton City Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday morning Riverton City put on a great easter egg hunt. It was so nice it was divided into age groups, and there was a TON of things for the kids to snatch up. We took Lydia as well as a bunch of her little friends to the 2 and under...we thought she has only been 3 for 3 days and we knew she would fare much better against other kids her age then 5 yr olds (ha ha ha!)
Lydia and Peyton...Kate was being camera shy that morning.
My two girls!
Nana and grandpa Hardman wanted to come and see the festivities with us...we were so glad they came!
Grandpa took Lydia into the hunt, and she came back with a little stuffed froggy...she loved it!
Daddy helped Lydia and I think she cleaned up!
Our family...me without make-up (ha ha ha!)
My own little easter bunny!
Chris had to work that day so later I took the girls for a run, I told Lydia we would run to the park...well 2 minutes into the run the above is what happened, I LOVED it!
Lydia and "Lala" her new little lion cub she got from her friends for her B-day
I had to put this pic in...love it!
Dying easter eggs...I am a little paranoid about getting the dye on clothes.
Our eggs!
The girls in their Easter dresses...this is after church so Audrey's poor dress has been a bit drooled on (ha ha ha!)
Lydia is OBSESSED with her dress...if I don't hang it high in the closet she will put it on several times a day with a crown and princess shoes and tell me that she is a princess!
I love Easter dresses!
Cute Auddy, she loved chowing on her shoes...lol!
We did our own little Easter egg hunt in our backyard...too bad we don't have many places to hide the eggs so it wasn't too hard for her!
Like her shoes?
Poor Auddy woke up that morning with a cold...she had no voice it was so sad.
The Easter bunny left some great stuff for the girls...my favorite were their matching swimming suits for Hawaii in July!!!
Liddy getting to the loot!
She wanted to make some adjustments to her outfit...love it!
Later we went to Knudsen's for another easter egg hunt...Lydia loved having her cousins there to share in the fun!
Auddy and Dane they are 4 months apart, just like Lydia and Raini, I think they are going to be little buddies when they are a little older.
The Easter shoes...so "Stylish" as Lydia would say!
On the hunt!
Aren't they cute?

Showing her new "Stick on" earrings!

We had such a great Easter weekend, we are so lucky to have such amazing Family and friends to spend time with. Hope everyone had just as great of a weekend!

What a great Easter Brit! I loved your girls Easter dresses, especially Lydia's shoes....darling! We went to the Riverton hunts to, it was very wise of you to keep her in the younger group, the older they get the crazier they get!

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
