Everyone must earn there keep...even Lydia!

Well we have given Lydia some chores...you could say we start em young (ha ha ha!) Every morning after Lydia has breakfast she is in charge (Obviously with my help) of feeding Che'. She actually likes it so much she tries to do it all day long. I now have to keep the pantry door closed at all times because if I don't she will get a handful of dog food, and when I'm not around to open the back door she makes dog food piles in places that I find at a later time (i.e. stairs, couch, bed, seat in office...) It is pretty dang cute, she will hold the food out in her hand and Che' eats it right from there. They are becoming the best of buddies, she plays in the backyard with him all the time, he basically ignores her and she follows him around going Doggy, woof woof, and then pants like a dog. Anyways I have caught her lately trying to mimick some of my other habits!

She is pretty good at getting the food all in the dish (NOT!)

Getting ready for her dismount.

Running around ready to feed Che'...mind you this is after nap that is why her shirt if off when she eats yogurt needless to say she makes a mess of her clothes.

Talking on her sponge phone.

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning...we have our very own cinder-liddy!

Sunday at the park!

Well Chris found a fairly secluded park over below the Oquirrh temple and we decided since there aren't any homes built by it yet we were safe to bring Che' along. It was a lot of fun, I played with Liddy on the playground while Chris threw the stick in the canal for Che' we had the most fun though with Che' on the playground.

Che' being a good dog, bringing the stick back only to have to go and get it again!

Lydia getting fed up with the fact that she couldn't get in too, notice the mud on her face she was having a grand old time.

After the canal we decided to have a little fun with Che' he loved going up but had to be pretty much pushed to get him to go down the slide.

It was so funny because Che' would shake off and it drove Liddy crazy. I love the stream of water coming off of his tail in this picture...that is one wet dog!

4 years down...the rest of eternity to look forward to!

Well on August 4th it was mine and Chris' 4 year anniversary. That night Chris surprised me with my favorite flowers, lilly's. The picture doesn't do them justice they are absolutley beautiful. I was in charge of the anniversary activities this year. We dropped Lydia off at my parents on Friday at about 2:00 and headed down town. If you know Chris and I you know that we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE hole in the wall restaurants. Sometimes we find the best restaurants and other times we come home sick. We kept hearind about the "Red Iguana" we had both been dying to go there so our first stop was lunch. It was the BOMB, you know it's going to be good when it is packed on a Friday at 3:00. Seriously it was so so good.
Next we went to Gateway and saw G.I. Joe, now if I can save anyone some money and 2 1/2 hours that you will never get back DO NOT SEE THAT MOVIE! We were both pissed the first 3 minutes, and if we weren't in the middle of the row we would've walked out for sure. It sucked. After that horrible movie we went and checked into our hotel. I have always wanted to stay at the Hotel Monaco. It was so cute and very classy. Our room was awesome minus our view of the vallet parking. It is so weird how just staying the night away can make such a difference.
Once we got all checked in we decided to hop on tracks and ride for a bit. We got off at Gateway and walked through some of the stores, I met a bagpipper that I had to get my picture with. Then it was too the roof. We went there for our 1st anniversary and it was such an amazing experience, and I say experience because it isn't just dinner it is so much more. We had reservations for 8:30 and our table was directly in front of the temple. It is seriously a spiritual experience. The piano, the temple, I seriously got teary eyed looking down at the excited brides walking the temple grounds and thinking that was us 4 years ago. We ate to our hearts content and you will see from the picture that I PIGGED out on the desserts. We were laughing so hard because they had special dessert plates and I bypassed those and got a full on dinner plate and literally I got One of EVERYTHING. The waitress was laughing at me that's how bad it was.
After dinner we walked back to the hotel and stopped at the lounge for a hot cocoa, we were both so full it was awesome. Then the next morning I slept in for the first time in 8 months, it was awesome. Then we had to try another dive that we have heard amazing things about. So we went to the "Blue Plate Diner" for breakfast. It did not dissapoint, the omlet was absolutely delectable, and Chris' breakfast burrito looked amazing. Then we headed to my Parents to pick Liddy. We had such a fun little mini vacay. And a super huge thank you to my parents who watched Lydia. She didn't want to leave, they definitely spoil that child.

My beautiful flowers!
The Red Iguana, I wasn't kidding when I said it is a hole in the wall.
I will be the first to say never judge a book by it's cover it was amazing.

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone it was so nice, and great service. But I would take trax down instead of having to do the vallet parking.
I loved the bright colors, and seriously wanted to take the wall paper home.

Our little sitting room

The cool bag piper!

The perfect time to eat at the roof...just as the sun is setting!

4 years together and just as in Love as the day we got married.

Dessert anyone...mind you it was a buffet, so yes I did go back for more (ha ha ha!)

Nothing beats eating with a view of the temple...especially when you can make requests to the pianist like "Annie's Song" and she knew it.
So 4 years has flown by and who are we kidding I seriously Love Chris SO SO SO much. It is so amazing to think back on all the things that we have shared and been through together. I love him he is my best friend, my soul mate, and I can't wait for what the rest of eternity has in store for us!

New camera...finally!!!

Well for some of you, you may have noticed that many of my pictures were just not top notch quality. Well Chris had promised me I could get a new camera and combine it as an anniversary present and my Birthday present. Now my birthday isn't until September but my little brother Tyler won this really nice Nikon camera at work and he sold it to us for a killer deal. So FINALLY I have a camera that takes pictures and captures them the way I hoped. I was so excited so on Saturday while Chris was golfing I took Lydia to the park by our house. It was a little chilly so I didn't think we would have a lot of competition, well we were the only one's there. It was so much fun and I had a lot of fun taking pics of her!

All pooped out from playing for an hour on the playground by herself!
I had to put this one, I love that plumbers crack.

So clear you can see her messy face..ha ha ha!

She loves to put the bark on the little window seal.

Down the stairs to the...TREATS!

Well I would be lying if I said that is surprises me that my child loves candy, I mean look who she has for parents. Anyways it has become a daily occurance that Lydia will make the journey down the stairs to the studio and directly to the treats. I love it because she is so confident going up and down the stairs by herself, but I hate it that she knows how to get candy so easily. Now mind you I have to open the candy for her so I am pretty guilty. No she is not ready for the day, I got her shorts on but I think she had other plans in mind (ha ha ha!)

Mom, I love candy!
Up the stairs!
Down the stairs.

Splish Splash fun!

Well lucky for us a brand new splash pad opened up right by our house. It is only like a 5 minute walk. It has been a summer weekly if not daily past time. Lydia will go brave the splash pad, run scream with the other kids. She is usually very cautious not to get her face wet, but loves to turn the wheels on the tractor and stomp in the puddles. But it is all over once she see's the playground. She loves this playground, and I love it because she can go on it all by herself. She runs back and forth across the bridge and climbs up and down the stairs and she even goes down the slide all by herself. It is so nice to live in an area where there are things like this so close.
Climbing up the stairs all by herself.
Running across the bridge!
Playing by the tractor, she loves to turn the wheels.

This little water feature is probably her favorite because she can get her hands and feet wet without it splashing her in the face. I like to swing her legs in it, she giggles so hard too when I do it.

Pushing the tractor wheel, maybe she likes the tractor so much because she rode on one quite often when she was in my tummy (ha ha ha!)

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
