So much to be thankful for!

We had such a great Thanksgiving. Thursday morning Chris went and played football and I hung out with Lydia watched the Parade and went running. Then we headed to my parents for Thanksgiving dinner. First of all I must say I am so thankful for my mom, she cooked everything and she went all out this year. Now I don't eat turkey but I must say that this one looked amazing (my dad got me a rotisserie chicken this year!) Anyways it was so fun to all be together and my Grandma and Grandpa Favatella even made it down from Eureka! The highlight though was Derek and Tyler dancing with Lydia. It was hillarious Lydia was a little scared of Derek (I think the new beard threw her off!) But she was having so much fun dancing so she was crying and dacing at the same time it was awesome! Doesn't it look like something out of a magazine?
Yum, Yum...notice my dad is in shorts ha ha ha!

The feast!

Tyler kept Lydia entertained during dinner, he even busted out his joe dirt hat with mullet included!

Lydia crying but still dancing!

The dance party!

Cinder-Liddy

I was doing laundry and Lydia pulled this darling little shirt out and wanted it on. She kept tripping on it because it hung down and so we added the darling belt. She would not take this outfit off. I tell ya not a day goes by that she doesn't just crack me up. My favorite is I was putting up the decorations that day and I had just been dusting and ran to get the phone and came back and she was finishing where i had left off...my cute little Cinder-liddy!

I have to use the elemt of surprise lately becaues she doesn't want to be in the pictures just see them after they are taken.
Pointing that she wants to see the pics...so fun!
Moving the basket so she can...

finishing dusting!

Now that's what I call a "Play Date!"

This weekend we went out with some good friends who just moved back from San Francisco (if anyone needs a great dentist let us know!) It was so much fun Brian and Becca's daughter Sadie and Lydia are about 3 months apart and it was obvious they were destined to be friends. We had a quick dinner at Pei Wei and then went to the mall to ride the merry go round and hit up the play place. The girls had a blast and it made it so much fun to plan a date around them. Thanks guys for a fun night we will have to do it again! The girlies had a blast!
Liddy and Sadie had a blast running around playing while we got to catch up

YYYEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!

They went on the rollercoaster quarter ride, it was pretty funny when the music for the ride started they both started dancing.

Destined to be friends!

What the what???

Well if anyone has ever heard us talk about our ward you would hear us use words like, HUGE, ENORMOUS, LARGE (I think you get the idea) Anyways a few weeks ago our bishop announced that our ward was being split. This wasn't a big surprise but it was sad to say goodbye to a lot of great people in our ward. I was serving as the 5 yr old teacher with the most amazing partner ever. I won't lie I loved my calling, I loved my little kids and seriously I loved being in primary.

Well last Tuesday I got a call to see if I could come in and recieve a calling. I thought well they sort of told me that we would most likely be recieving our same calling so I thought Ok awesome, I loved my calling. Well I was thrown a bit of a surprise, I was called as the PRIMARY CHORISTER!!! Now mind you I accepted the calling whole heartedly and I really am so so excited. But I must say I definitely feel extremely inadequate. Who are we kidding I do not sing, if any of you have ever heard me you know I am tone deaf and I know it.

Anyways I was so nervous for today, but it was actually so much fun. The new primary presidency is going to do an amazing job, and I truly feel blessed to be able to be apart of it. Anyways overall despite my horrible voice I love my new calling...mind you I might change my mind once it comes to primary program time (ha ha ha!)

NEW MOON

YES I am one of those dorks that is totally obsessed with Twilight. So when my good friend Jill called me to see if I would be interested in tickets to see the "New Moon" movie the night before it comes out, you know my answer was YES!!! Anyways a bunch of friends from high school and my sister-in-law all went last night (at 9:00 pm) and saw the movie. It was actually pretty funny to come out of the movie and see all the people waiting to see the midnight showing (suckers!) I must say after reading the books I was always on team Edward but after seeing the movie Jacob definitely moved up a notch. It certainly helped that he was ripped and his shirt was off for the better half of the movie (ha ha ha!) Anyways overall I thought it was a great movie, stayed true to the book and kept ya excited for "Eclipse" So anyways Jill thanks for the tickets and girls thanks for a fun night out!

Once there was a snow man!

I woke up Sunday afternoon from my nap to the sound of a snowball hitting our bedroom window followed by "MMMMMMOOOOMMMMMYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!" When I went out back this is what I found...Chris and Lydia's snowman
Chris putting on the 2nd head!

Lydia by her first snowman!

Lydia and her best friend following right behind.

Lydia copying what Che' does when he is outside.
All I have to say is that I am married to one amazing man, who are we kidding he let me take a two and a half hour nap and while I was doing that he got Lydia in tights, and jeans (she is getting her snow pants for christmas) took her out and built her one cute little snowman. He also spent our Saturday evening hooking che up with a sweet new doggy igloo and he rigged it with a heating lamp to keep him warm. Anyways what I am really trying to say is that I don't say it enough how blessed I am to have Chris for a husband. He works so hard and provides so much for our family without complaint. He truly is my best friend, and partner in crime. He is an amazing dad with such a soft spot for his little Liddy. We love you babe and hope you know you are APPRECIATED!!!

A toddler's best friend!

OK so for those of you who have known Che' since he was a puppy you know that he was our baby. He ruled our home no doubt. We sacrificed 2 sets of blinds, several hoses, so many of my high heels I don't even want to count and countless socks. We let that dog rule the roost and all because yes we love him.
Well after Lydia was born, we became pretty typical (I like to think) parents and we became SUPER overprotective of Lydia around Che'. It wasn't that we thought he was going to try to hurt her, I don't think Che' could hurt a fly. We were worried he would hurt her without meaning to.
So for the past 18 months Che' had found a new residence OUTSIDE. It seemed to work, he seemed happy and we would bring him in at night when it got cold. Well someone else had a different idea.
For the past couple of weeks Lydia has become obsessed with Che' from the moment she wakes up until she goes to be all I hear is CCCCHHHHEEE (it is pretty funny because when she says his name it sounds like she has a British accent.) Anyways we have slowly but surely been bringing Che' back inside. I'll be honest I fought it tooth and nail. I hate dog hair, and hate having to be on guard for my shoes and socks and now Lydia's toys but and there is a big BUT...
Lydia absolutely adores him. So anyways Lydia you win, I will let Che' come in the house, and I will sweep up and vacuum up his hair but only because I love you, and who are we kidding I really do love Che' too.

P.S. Surprisingly Che' has mellowed quite a bit, he knows he can't go in Lydia's room, and who are we kidding he will just sit there while Lydia malls the poor dog. Not to mention that now she follows him around on all fours (like a dog!)

Lydia and he new best friend!

Welcome back puppy!

Where my girls at?

Well my good friend Stacie was out of town (in Puerto Rico to be exact) and needed someone to watch her girls for one day. I of course volunteered #1 because I love her girls, and #2 Lydia gets so excited when she has someone other then me to play with. Let's just say it was quite the day. 4 Girls, 3 playgrounds, the merry go round, McDonalds, the Aquarium, movies, ice cream and me in a mini van. Here are a few of the pics, it really was so much fun!
7:30-8:30 am
We started off playing down in the studio. All three of Stacie's girls take from me so they were so excited to play on the mat's and dance around without any instruction with it (ha ha ha!)

8:30-9:30am
Then it was off to the park. Lydia and Ameliah were the best of friends.

Cute sisters Kaylee and Emma

Lydia

9:30-9:45 am
Snack time at the park

10:00-10:02 am (ha ha ha!)
We went to South Town mall to ride the merry-go-round. For some reason I thought this would take all sorts of time but Lydia's tantrum (when the ride was over) was longer then the ride itself.

Cute Emma would pose every time she saw the camera pointed at her.

Lydia and Ameliah... they loved it

10:15-11:00
We went down to the dinosaur play place in the mall...The girls had a blast and for most of the time they had it to themselves.

Ameliah and a little boy that showed up later went the rounds over the globe in the background. It was so funny to watch them baby argue over it!

Kaylee was Lydia's protector...she kept saying "Lydia is my best friend in the whole world!"

I love love love Kaylee she is seriously my favorite. She wore her favorite spider man shoes, and roared like a dinosaur the whole time we were at the dino play place.
McDonalds
11:00-12:00 pm

Living planet aquarium
12:00-12:45
After McDOnalds we went to the living planet aquarium.
By this time they were pretty tired and towards the end it was really showing that it was 1 hr past Liddy's nap time.

All the girls loved the sting reys but they were a little scared.
Right after Emma washed her hands she went back over and one of the sting reys totally sprayed her. It went ALL OVER!

1:00-3:30
After the aquarium it was back to my house for naps (only for Lydia), ice cream, Ice Age, more studio, a tea party, playing with Che' and chip time!

Emma was so excited about her puzzle that she completed while we were watching Ice age!
It was such a fun and jam packed day. I will say that 4 kids seems like a lot but we had a blast!

Tywer is 23!

Well my youngest brother Tyler turned 23 yesterday (Nov.3rd) We celebrated his birthday on Sunday at my parents. We had Ty's favorite pizza and brownies. I seriously love my little brother, he has so much energy for life and is just such a good kid. I feel like most youngest kids are the most spoiled but for some reason Tyler has turned out despite being spoiled (ha ha ha...minus of course the crimson fury!) Some of my favorite memories growing up involve Tyler just being Tyler. I love him to death and hope that he knows how much we love him. Happy Birthday Tyler! Tyler is not only cute but available...ha ha ha!

Liddy demanding all the attention (of course!)
Lydia was loving grandpa, partly because she was so scared of Uncle Tyler. Every time Tyler would come even close to Lydia she would give him the look of death, not joke we laughed for about 45 minutes because it was so funny!
So much for being the fun uncle huh TY?

Tyler's favorite mom's homemade brownies!

My cute mom and dad...I can't believe that their youngest is 23 years old!

This is my favorite pic of her holding on to grandpa's finger

Baby Girl

Baby Girl
This is our baby girl at 16 weeks. It was such an amazing thing to see her moving and count all of her fingers and toes for the first time. I know I bawled and Chris won't admitt it, but he was pretty emotional as well.

It's a girl!

It's a girl!

She's going to be a dancer
